PLANNING
We work with our clients to understand their priorities so that we can focus on the right approach for each project we undertake. The approach often includes gathering field and historical information so that existing conditions are well understood, addressing current and anticipated or potential future client needs, and planning the work to provide value for our services and in the infrastructure that we design.
DESIGN
Our Civil Design team provides engineering for earthworks, highways, railways, municipal land developments, waste (lagoons and landfills), water resource, and underground utilities projects.
We conduct all of our designs to meet or exceed industry standards and coordinate any approvals required for the work. We produce drawings and digital information in real time to guide contractors and our construction team. We collaborate with our construction group during the design process to ensure our designs are constructible in the field and don’t just work “on paper”.
The Civil Design Group also makes recommendations to manage risk and reduce both costs to the client and conflicts with other stakeholders.
Construction
Our Construction team ensures that the final product is constructed according to design, the materials in use meet required specifications, construction procedures adhere to contract provisions, and the end product adheres to the design and the client expectations. Our construction managers and inspectors support materials technicians, providing quality control and quality assurance for materials used in construction.
